ABOUT US

ABOUT US

Flora Tea Rooms has been family run business for over 30 years. This year ownership of the tea rooms was passed down to Christian Elsley. A complete refurbishment and updating has taken place inside during the Winter and our outside seating area has been replaced. We are looking forward to opening with a fresh new look.

We pride ourselves on serving locally sourced and fresh food. Enjoy our fish supplied by Scaled Up which is cooked in our own secret recipe batter. Their reliability, service and support is unsurpassed and the quality of fish they deliver to us cannot be faulted. Whether it is local cod, skate or bass. Christian works closely with Danny to supply you with the best fresh seasonal fish 7 days a week.

Although we are not a vegan, vegetarian or gluten free café, we do try our best to accommodate everybody. Ask your server about our options and we will be sure to cater for you. All our fish and chips are cooked in rapeseed oil which is a healthier option of oil and suitable for vegetarians. Our fish and chips are cooked separately which means we can cater for individuals who are gluten free by grilling their fish. Occasionally on specials board we offer a vegan fish and chips.

The best place to start of your day with a tea or coffee or take a break and enjoy a yummy breakfast, treat yourself to lunch or an afternoon tea.
