Traditional Fish & Chip Restaurant on the beach
in Dunwich, Suffolk
Picture of outside of cafe...
Situated on the beach, Dunwich Flora Tea rooms is a hub for both locals and visitors to meet, enjoy a wide variety of refreshments and meals whilst visiting the adjacent beach and village. A ‘traditional’ fish and chip café which also offers an additional variety of meals and snacks.
Flora Tea Rooms has been family run business for over 30 years. This year ownership of the tea rooms was passed down to the third generation. A complete refurbishment and updating has taken place inside during the Winter and we are looking forward to opening with a fresh new look in March 2020.
We pride ourselves on serving locally sourced and fresh food. Enjoy our fish which supplied by L.G Roberts of Lowestoft which is cooked in our own secret recipe batter. We have been customers of L & G Roberts for about 30 years, their reliability, service and support is unsurpassed and the quality of fish they deliver to us cannot be faulted. Whether it is local cod, skate or bass these guys know their stuff and never fail to impress us. Delivering 7 days a week - we highly recommend and would use no other!
Although we are not a vegan, vegetarian or gluten free café, we do try our best to accommodate everybody. Ask your server about our options and we will be sure to cater for you. All our fish and chips are cooked in rapeseed oil which is a healthier option of oil and suitable for vegetarians. Our fish and chips are cooked separately which means we can cater for individuals who are gluten free by grilling their fish.
